Skill Requirements

✅Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS (preferably Stylus or similar pre-processors).

✅Experience with Webpack and NPM for build and dependency management.

✅Practical knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.

✅Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

✅Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

✅Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment.

Other Requirements (Optional)

✅Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

✅Exposure to UI frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

✅Experience with version control systems such as Git.

✅Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies.

As a Junior Frontend Developer at HCLTech, you will be integral to the development and optimization of innovative web applications that power our clients’ digital experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-quality, scalable, and responsive frontend solutions, directly contributing to project success and client satisfaction in a dynamic, global environment.

- Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS/Styling preprocessors (such as Stylus).

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate requirements into efficient, high-performance code.

- Utilize build tools such as Webpack and package managers like NPM to streamline the development workflow.

- Implement code using TypeScript and Node.js for enhanced scalability and maintainability.

- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal application functionality.

- Adhere to best practices in web development, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in frontend development.
