Junior Early Growth Specialist - French

This role sits between onboarding, activation and sales and is focused on activating newly acquired merchants and driving early growth. You will support merchants during their first steps with SumUp, ensure successful activation and first transactions and introduce additional SumUp products (such as the Business Account and ecosystem tools) when relevant. You will operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires energy, adaptability and the ability to balance speed with quality. 

What profile are we looking for?

- Previous experience in onboarding, customer support, SDR or roles with strong outbound exposure 
- Comfort with high-volume outbound calls
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both X and English
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs.
- Advance level of English and French

What functions will you perform?

- Activate newly acquired merchants through outbound calls and video calls, ensuring correct setup and first successful transactions.
- Guide merchants through onboarding and early usage, answering questions and removing blockers
- Identify early growth opportunities during activation conversations (e.g. Business Account, additional products, ecosystem tools)
- Follow up proactively to ensure activation completion and product adoption
- Operate consistently toward clear activation and growth targets, with commission as a key part of compensation
