Ubloom Program
An internship program designed for students to gain their first professional experiences, discover our purpose, and understand what drives us to reimagine medicine.
Department and therapeutic area description:
Located in Barcelona, the Development Finance Hub is a group of finance professionals working across development units and core development functions. They provide data-driven financial insights, transparency, and proactive decision support throughout the product development lifecycle. Bringing together diverse, international talent, the
hub plays a key role in balancing innovation, productivity, and portfolio performance while fostering collaboration, digital capabilities, and continuous improvement within Global Development Finance.
¿Qué perfil buscamos?
● Degree in Finance or Economics
● Master student related to the sector or internship score
● Availability to sign an internship agreemet for at least 6 months (possibility to extend to 12 months is highly valued)
● High level of Spanish and English (written and spoken)
● Advanced proficiency in office tools and digital platforms
● Availability to work full-time
● Availibility to start from June 2026, with the possibility to attend Novartis Offices in Barcelona
¿Qué funciones realizarás?
● Maintain and update master data, including creation and maintenance of cost centres
● Track and monitor FTEs, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with latest plans
● Provide support for financial rebookings and cross-charges processes
● Develop, maintain and enhance reporting tools to support monthly closing analysis
● Prepare and update ad hoc reports.
● Assist in analysing financial results and identifying key drivers and variances
¿Qué ofrecemos?
● Flexible hybrid work model: combination of on-site work offices in Barcelona and remote work
● Full-time internship schedule with flexibility: Monday to Friday, from 8.30-9.00 to 17.30-18.00h, depending on agreement
● 6 months internship with possibility of extension up to 12 months.
● Paid internship: 96939 gross per month
● Company experience including onboarding training, supervision and continous mentoring by specialized professionals, and ongoing HR support.
