Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. 

¿QUÉ PERFIL ESTAMOS BUSCANDO/ REQUISITOS?

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent.

Experience managing the global indirect purchasing category at an international level.

Ideally experience with SAP software.

Excellent negotiating skills and understanding of key contractual terms.

Knowledge of industry trends and business risks for the categories assigned.

Experience in implementing new processes and systems.

English and Spanish skills at business level (written and spoken), any additional language is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced in Excel is a must).

Experience in using procurement platforms. 

¿QUÉ FUNCIONES REALIZARÁS?

Define, drive, and implement global purchasing  strategies, as well as quantitative and qualitative goals.

Identify key stakeholders; collaborate, advise, and influence in the organization.

Validate global purchasing events of the assigned categories.

Identify and keep up to date the indirect purchasing category panel.

Manage the supplier qualification process.

Lead global RFI’s/RFP’s/RFQ’s, launch tenders, check proposals.

Lead negotiations and close deals with optimal terms to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Work with the Legal Department and internal stakeholders to prepare contracts/agreements and lead contractual discussions with suppliers.

Ensure compliance with the purchasing policy guidelines (global and local) and the corresponding procedures. Implement the corresponding procedures so that the entire purchasing process is controlled.

Manage and report costs and drive savings.
